Yep. real question. What is the weight of an avg cherry shrimp?

LOL! I suspect I'd have to mound up a pile of 'em before they tipped the lowest setting on my bead scale; it only goes down to 1 gram. Hrm, if I zero'd it out for a container and the water....

easy to figure. Hold one in your hand and get on the scale, record the weight. Now, get on the scale without the shrimp and record the weight. Subtract the second weight from the first and the diference is the weight of the shrimp. Note, weigh the shrimp before feeding to get an accurate weight.

What size shrimp though. Juvie, adult, berried or not? Lol now you have me thinking.

It's hard to weigh a shrimp, we all agree with that. So you cut one into two and weigh both then add them together.

well it all depends, how much do they eat? lol most of the weight are body fat and some in food weight
