Green Tiger my new project

ok so i have had this pair pop up at random in one of my tanks. i have nothing else like them and they look totaly different than the shrimp they were found with both in body size and shape. im going to try and breed them out so no clue how it will go but since they are so pretty i figured what have i got to lose. i will post more pics later but figured here was a starting point. i will post parameters later when i get around to taking them lol

are you calling them "tigers" because of the stripes or do you think they actually have tiger shrimp genetics? just curious. awesome shrimp, by the way!

what are you getting those from? As I have a couple like that I culled from my OEBT tank, I think they might have been blonds of mine that ate to much spirulina and ended up changed body color...

wicca has mentioned she has no idea of the species of shrimp as they were sold to her as mystery shrimp. I LOVE that she has decided to try breeding these out and seeing what happens. I think they are absolutely beautiful! Of course, I'm partial to green anyway.

Two thumbs up Wicca!

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

You should try contacting crustahunter to see if he can recognize it visually at least or maybe post on shrimp now though I want to say the collection of ppl here are just as good.

Those guys look awesome
