I didn't do a water change yet. The water level was pretty low when I got here so I added about 2 gallons. And yes, I saw the molt the other day

sorry op, dont mean to highjack thread but if shrimps are molting thats a good sign right, that they're comfortable in their environment?

Molting is just a part of the shrimps growing. They will sometimes molt if there's a water change(for me it was adding more water). I can't say my tank is a comfortable environment for them at the moment. I believe the molted shell can tell you about the quality of the water though but I'm not too sure. I've been away from shrimp knowledge 2 long and I myself need to get back on track Maybe someone else may give a better answer.
