Malawa Shrimp

I want to keep malawa as my first shrimp. I just love wild type animals and like the natural yet colorful look on these guys. How easy are they? And what's a good price to find them for?

Anyone want to provide some tips?

I keep mine at:

Temp: 78F
pH: 8+
TDS: 200-300
GH: 6

Extremely easy to care for, and out breed my cherries. No one to my knowledge has come up with a color strain for them yet.

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

I would say that they are easier than any type of neocaridina but that might be a pretty narrow distinction as both species are easy to care for.

They are also more active, in my experience, than most neos. Swim around more, mate more, etc.
