Soft Water shrimp?

Are there any shrimp species I could keep that would like rather soft 0-2dKH water and moderate hardness?

Are amanos in this group?

My ph is a tad low...around 5.8-6.2 depending on when I do water changes. Is this okay? I'm pretty bad with shrimp keeping...I had a hard time keeping rcs in my main tank but that was probably my fault for letting nitrates get ridiculous.

would help more to have more specific water parameters cause the different kinds need different parameters

the higher end crystal reds tend to like those parameters but if you have never kept shrimp i would start out with lower grades like A-S and work your way up the A-S grade tend to be about as cheap as cherrys now

I left my TDS meter at home but from the measurements I took of the tap water when I had it with me...

out the tap
TDS= ~120 (filtered) -150 (depending on the day straight from the tap)
insane pH

In the tank with ADA AS and CO2
pH= 5.8-6.2
kH = 0-2
GH = medium-very high (I'm in limestone country)

I'll probably stick to Amanos for now, since I have a few very voracious nano catfish I'm looking after right now but now I know for future tanks.

Are there any more colorful shrimp that get around 2" so that they won't get eaten?
