Am harry and am fairly new to the shrimp hobby.
I am trying to buy some shrimps from an online buyer and wanted to know what am buying since he told me they were ''BLUE KNIGHTS''. After having my cherry shrimps for 3-4 months now and already an addict. I cycled another tank for 2 month now and want some more shrimps in my new 20 gallon. I want to be sure of what am buying since am new to shrimps and dont want to be stuck with some shrimps i dont want. The thing is am only into dwarf shrimp and am trying to buy those since he told me they are Neocaridina and easy to keep. Theres some pictures of them from the seller. http://imgur.com/a/70S2w#2
Please help cause i want to get this right the first time
Thanks in advance
If I were you I'd hop onto aquabid and buy some yellow or blue pearl shrimp. They are color morphs of red cherries and are just as easy to keep. They will crossbreed with red cherries and produce ugly offspring, but since you said you were setting up a separate tank they might work.
I've never bought from aquabid and not ready for it but thank you.
So they might be malawa or some sort or neos?
I'll try and get more pictures off him Thanks all
and please do write something if anyone knows thanks
aquabid is pretty easy ive been using it for years. and am a member of the forum and chat there.... any way if they are blue tinted i would guess low grade blue pearls which are a morph off of cherry shrimp.
Just a recommendation, but if your looking for some nice blue neos, soothingshrimp has some nice blue velvets for sale! Good price, great color, and excellent seller to work with. I'm very happy with them, but of course, blue is my favorite color here's the link and a pic of one of my new guys! hope this helps and goodluck! http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=210617
