My favorites are ramshorn, physa, and trumpet snails.
I like mystery snails as well, but I had them in my bigger tank and they all died at once and it was a nightmare
But now without them I have nothing to eat algae or melting plants. And it makes me sad
Nerites are also cool, they eat algae a lot better than ramshorns and pond snails. They can also go better with certain fish because they cling more tightly to the surface. The one think I don't like about them though is that they leave their white eggs everywhere and that the can't breed, meaning once they die, you need to shell out money for new ones.
I never tried the tylo species, might have to give them a go in my 10 or something. They are pricey but look pretty and breed very slowly.
Tbh, I never understood the point of assassin snails. Its like, lets kill my snails, by adding a different snail. Which still leaves you, with snails lol. They do look nice though but I wouldn't want them in a tank with inverts I value.
