I have some RT and TT and bred them together....by mistake! I had a 3 ft long tank divided into 3 sections for tigers....red in one, tt in the other and btoe in the last. Darn things started somehow getting into each section
Anyhoo...ended up getting one of my Reds berried by a TT...didn't think that could happen until I read it on here, by then it was too late.
She produced babies that look like wild shrimps reddish with 5 white bands across the back, very weird looking.
I dumped them into the other hybrid tank because that one already had the TT x CBS cross in it (that was another story how that happened)
TTs are extremely hardy shrimps and very aggressive breeders. RTs on the other hand, like others I have found they get berried but I don't see many babies surviving and over the year Ive had them I started with quite a few (10+) and I am down to about 6 of them now.
I would go with the TTs.
OEBTs, BTOEs, Reds, are all very finicky shrimps, if the parameters are not right they don't survive or breed.
