I bred my snow white female shrimp to a mischling and this is one of her babies. I thought when it was born it was just a trick of the light that the eyes showed red, but its growing up in the crs tank now and today I fished it out to get a better look at it.
I am NOT a great photographer (unlike speedie ) but I did my best to try to capture what I was seeing. It is in a bowl on a desk, so the background makes it look more yellowish, but it is in fact white.
I am not sure why it only has one dot on its head and red eyes...its not sick, just different from my other snows. Now Im wondering what it might throw if I cross it back to say a red wine??? Any thoughts?
here's one right after it was born, with a sibling...you can see the red eyes clearly on it.
My bf picked up a really nice Snow White for me less than 2 weeks ago. She was berried too. Right on the day I was planning to snap some pictures she went missing. This probably happened at least once to all of us? :/
The next day I found her, but she was dead :/ Red eyes, 90% solid pure white with hairline break in the head only. Could not tell she is berried because of how solid her shell was. If she wasn't stressed from being berried and drastic change in TDS, she probably could have made it. LFS TDS of 250 and mines was only 120. Told the bf to stock that LFS weekly for me now in case another one like her shows up
