It's getting colder, should I add a heater?
My 5 gallon neo tank sits in front of a drafty window and door for lack of anywhere else to put it in my apartment. The water's been in the high 60's to low 70's, depending on room temp (as I said, drafty), and it seems that the shrimp aren't growing as fast as I'm used to seeing. I've noticed that some other shrimp in a much warmer bowl are maturing much faster, so maybe it's time to break out the heater for the main tank. Opinions?
