Co2 Effect shrimp activity?

I have home made co2 for plants and I noticed for the last week as it was winding down and 2 days it wasnt in there the shrimp seemed much more active is this a coincidence?

CO2 is no good for shrimp tanks, unless you are really experienced with shrimp and no how to handle it. 99% of the people keeping more than just your general RCS do not use CO2 in there shrimp tanks.

Why exactly? And that didnt exactly answer my question. Its not a lot of co2 its home made.

Because the huge PH swings, lack of oxygen in the tank for shrimp. You can gas them and kill them all.

~.~ accidents happens.. i don't think you want to take that risk, accidentally nuke your tank... i used to dose my tank with fertz, i notice shrimps are quite sensitive, so i stopped fertz and co2..
