looking for microfauna for fish food

I'm looking for the best way to seed a new tank with microfauna like scuds and nematodes and other safe worms to hide in the substrate for my fish to hunt. anyone got any ideas? my current tank's substrate is worm free from my plecos and tetras over eating. haha any help is appreciated

You can seed the substrate with Black Worms and Asellus Aquatiucs. Seed shrimp, which I don't recommend because they go extinct in very short periods.

You could probably order a culture online, but I think you would be better off raising micro or grindal worms. I imagine with time you'll get some sort of edible worms and little things in your tank unless you're purposefully preventing them...

You can order like 50+ scuds from "xenxes" and have them breed in your tank. As long as you provide some cover for them, they should be able to maintain a healthy population even with fish preying on them.

Fish Shrimp tanks are like cups of coffee, one is never enough.

I feed red worms I don't have time for white and grindal. Blacks eventually die right?

Take a scoop of water from my 10 gallon and you'd be set. I have sperm looking annelids/nematodes swimming everywhere.
