Snow white from CRS

I have a quick question about the snow white. Based on the information I gathered, these are basically bee shrimp that are white. I have about 1/2 a dozen from my CRS colony and they seem to be growing.

I am in the process of setting up more CRS tank so I was wondering. Should I pull these and put them in their own tank? What's the percentage of getting more of these? Will I get CRS from them?

There is no specific ratio anyone can give you. They are not specific phenotypes or mutations -- simply a different pattern (in this case, lack thereof).

However, if you do separate your shrimp, over generations of culling you will be able to increase the percentage of goldens/snows in a snow tank and CRS in the CRS tank.

You can definitely seperate them. However, It's going to take many generations to get cra that only give more CRS, and even then you can get shrimp 10 gens down that still drop a golden or two. Itll be the same way for the goldens giving CRS. It's up to you if you want to try your hand at breeding both seperately or just continue to let them breed together. If you want CRS that dont have any golden genes you'll have to buy more from a different source, like speedie, mordalphus, or kangshiang, ect.

Thanks for the feedback.

These were thrown from my F1 of my original SS and SSS CRS mix. Ireally like the look of them and so far, they are more white than yellowish.

I already have separate tank with kangshiang PRL that are breeding. I guess it's a matter of putting another tank out and seeing what they will throw out and go from there.

Definitely keep them away from the prl as they were specifically bred sans golden gene over several generations.

Goldens are my favorite and also not as easy to come by. I'm going to house them with my CBS when my new tank is setup.

I think based on Geniusdudekiran response, I read it as I'll be getting CRS with red and some non-pattern like these snow white.

Well I am a newbie to breeding CRS so that was my initial though. Put all the snow white I got into a tank and get all snow white off spring but that doesn't appear to be the case. I am still going to do that anyway. I'll give them another 4-6 weeks, then I'll move them.

I'm interested in this too as well.
I do have 7 Goldens and 10 CRS in my 10 gallon. I have about 30 babies and they all are CRS.

I'm still waiting for the temperature to cool down to seperate the golden on their own tank. Because I only have 1 fan to cool down 1 tank only.
