Babies!

Well my 10 gallon test tank has yielded promising results!! I wanted to see if I could keep and raise crystal shrimp and other card species on my tap water...

Well haven't lost any crystals and low and behold during my water change today.. A berried female! woohoo

Great news!

How long have they been in your tap water?

Shrimp babies are always a positive thing.

Now you have a berried shrimp or babies? A berried crystal is fairly easy in a lot of water params. Babies that live past the first few weeks is the hard part. Not trying to rain on your parade, but until you have 3 month old juvi's and a good percentage from birth to that point, you may find your water isn't the best for what they need all the way through.

20g platy, , 2 x 10g shrimp, 3 x 20g shrimp, 7.5g shrimp and 1 great dane/mastiff puppy.

If you live in the southeastern/central part of Arkansas then you should be okay; I checked a hardness map and it appears that the area I just described has soft water.

not knowing your water parameter is very very hard ...

I have CRS in hard water and they grow up fine,....even have 2-3 berried shrimp but nowhere have I ever seen any baby...

So don't be dissappoint when you don't see any

GPG is grains per gallon, I don't know what that translates to in degrees, but I just went by the descriptions.
