Okay, even with the illustration, I still think the shrimp in the picture looks possibly a female. What I go with is if the lower edge is more or less a straight line then it might be a male. A berried one of one that looks like a "pig" is a female. Anything in between is unknown. I'll keep learning.

I think male but until mine get berried, then I know for sure. Twice I have culled males out and ended up with a preggers in the batch, so I suck at it. lol. Right now, I know the pattern of all my females so I can track them and know who is who for my crystals. Reds, yellows, tigers are easy to tell, you can see the saddle and they breed fast enough, it's not as important.

20g platy, , 2 x 10g shrimp, 3 x 20g shrimp, 7.5g shrimp and 1 great dane/mastiff puppy.

Those are the best drawings, ever! :P

I have given up trying to sex my CRS and CBS unless they are berried (Gasp, must be a girl! Or jealous guy stole eggs.... That would be crazy!) Also, my OEBT are really hard to sex as well :/ Crazy solid color shells covering up that lovely saddle!
