nerites hatching in freshwater?

i thought it was supposed to not happen....
if so, can someone ID this organism for me?

Hey Rachel, i took a look at a few seed shrimp photos. the organism in the photo doesnt have swimming hairs, it also doesnt move like a shrimp...it slowly moves on the glass wall. i wish i had a better camera...IRL, the foot and the mouth are very distinct. i'll continue to take pics of the progress...

Also looks like it could be a limpet, if it's attached to the glass.

Nerite eggs do hatch in freshwater, it's just that the larvae usually requires salt afterwards.

ah. thanks for clarifying that...i thought they just didnt hatch period...
to ID as a limpet is also interesting, considering that i dont have any in the tank. hahaha...didnt know that freshwater limpets existed either. thanks everyone!

Pretty much everything a regular bladder snail would do with one minor exception....Limpets will rasp on GSA.
