Red Cherry Shrimp die

I have nano tank 18 x 10 x 10 inch. It is heavily planted with plants. Stone and drift wood. I have DIY CO2. Tank is established from last 3 months. It is shrimp and snail tank only.

I were having 11 Red Cherry Shrimp. But now 9 cherry as two died when they were molting.

My water parameter
  1. TDS :- 257 ppm
  2. Temprature :- 20 C
  3. Ammonia :- 0 ppm
  4. Nitrite :- 0.25 ppm
  5. Nitrate :- 10 ppm
  6. PH :- 7.6 ppm
  7. KH :- 3 drops from blue to yellow
  8. GH :- 14 drops from orange to green

I am not feeding my shrimp anything. Water change 10-20%. Kindly help what I should do

Are you possibly injecting too much CO2? Also, Nitrites should be 0 so this could also be a problem. Especially if you are not feeding them anything.

I don't have a lot of shrimp experience, but I do know that DIY CO2 can be very inconsistent. I believe shrimp are pretty sensitive to water parameter changes, so this might be a problem.

Problems with molting are usually kh/gh related.
Your GH is too high. Try to get it to 6-8. In doing that you'll probably end up getting your TDS below 200 as well.

This^

I didn't even notice the nitrite. Never detected any with my test kit before, so not used to paying attention to it.

I also think that your GH is too high, slowly lower it with water changes using RO/DI or distilled water.
