Only my third post here...
I'm looking into setting up a new 29 gal tank, planted, of course, and have started looking into the many aspects of this procedure. I've seen substrate in local shops that is sold wet with nitrifying bacteria and water conditioners already in the bag. Has anyone here used this product? It would be nice to have the tank up and running quickly, (sometimes I'm sooo impatient!
). The gravel does seem expensive, though...
Looking for an easy to clean gravel that will be good for the plants and critters that I place in the tank.
