Default Help me eliminate potential fin nippers

I'm planning to put in some expensive show guppies in one of my living room tank. Before I do this, I decided to test things out by using cheaper guppies.
Yesterday I put in a black delta tail, and woke up the next morning with torn caudal fins (it's not bad, small bits torn). I removed the neon tetras (I heard they were somewhat nippy). I added in a red tailed delta today. When the lights came on, it had a much bigger torn tail.

Suspects:
Ghost shrimps. (1.5 inch plus) I noticed that when I put in these red tailed guppies, more ghost shrimps came closer to the surface. I actually saw them try to grab on the tail.
There's a bolivian ram, but she's always been peaceful. She always keeps to herself.
Endlers: not likely, they seem to keep to themselves.

What does everyone think?
