I only have a 5 gallon hex tank, so does it matter where the diffuser is placed? Right now I have it behind the filter intake on the back wall of the tank. Its also in the middle between top and bottom.

By the way, I'm using the Hagen Natural Plant co2 system. The diffuser is pretty big and I don't even use half of it since the tank is so small.
