Renton Aquarium Store
Hello everybody, new here, first post. Back into the hobby again, so much more information and products! I have been obsessively researching substrate and everything else. I bought a 36g bow-front off of Craigslist.
I was wandering Renton and stumbled across a great (well stocked) store. Sierra Fish and Pets. Not only did it have a number of brands of commercial substrate, but they also carried bulk substrates. Also unusual wood decor that I haven't seen anywhere else. The staff I talked with were quite knowledgeable and I learned a bunch about CO2. Check it out...
I also checked out the shop in Burien that is mentioned here a few times. I found it in sad decay, tanks full of algae and some sad emaciated Apistogramma. I hope they get it together and hire someone who's more knowledgeable. Someone who knows not to mix all the different colors of Neocaridina shrimp in the same tank.
Next chance I get I want to check out the Coop in Edmonds. Any other suggestions for good places?
