Looking for RCS, Plants in Charlottesville

Hey guys,

Amateur here - set up a new 10-gallon tank, Walstad Method, a few weeks ago. Looking to start stocking it, and add some more plants to finish off the scape.

In an ideal world I would like to find some Red Cherry Shrimp, and then maybe some cuttings of Rotala rotundifolia, Lloydiella, Hygrophila Stricta,Bacopa Carolina if anyone has those (or if you have something you might recommend! I am all ears) that they might be willing to sell/donate to a 'starving college student'.

Thanks! Have a great day!

Aw Hookville home of my alma mater!

I don't possess any of the items you desire, but check the Richmond area Craigslist. There are several people in that area who are very active growers!

I recently saw them at the Mechanicsville VA PetSmart. Not all of them in the area cary them, but I know that one carries like 4 different varieties of shrimp (and generally some slightly less common plants that'd you'd normally find in a big box store. I got my gorgeous Green Ozelotte from that one)
