When you buy a plant or fish, get home, realize your tanks are full... and set up another tank to hold it.

... and know that you can, with no worry about the nitrogen cycle, 'cause of all the donations from your established tanks.
... and have enough equipment in your 'spares' box to do just that.

You know you are addicted when you have the water parameters at several stores memorized. When you get home you can indeed set up a quarantine tank for the new fish even without checking the parameters in the bag.

When people are impressed with your tank, but you really can't wait to show off and explain your CO2 diffusion system to them!

And, when you wander into your LFS, and the guy on duty insists on calling the owner to assist you even though you say you're just looking around (and you do indeed walk out with a huge bag of stuff).

When you have this aquarium and either eat your meals around the tank or just have seating for four simply to watch the tank!

My apologies to new member evilsway for using his photo without permission! It just seemed right for this thread.

When you have some time off because your son was just born, so you decide to convert all your tanks to dirt and mineralize your own topsoil

LOL, this thread is too funny!

I've only had a planted tank for about 4 months and I've done almost every one of these.

UMMMM, I think I'm in trouble, again.
