New tank, have snails

Should I be worried? I have no idea what kind of snails these are, and if I should be concerned, and If I should be, what I should do about it.

Pond snails not a big deal dont overfeed and they will control themselves or they might become a meal depending on what livestock is in the tank.

They look like pond snails. Probably came in on your plants. I don't mind a few as they clean up a bit, but an explosion of them means you're overfeeding.

If they do explode though you can always take them out or smash them. Also you could put in some assassin snails in the tank, they eat the pond snails and look awesome!

Thanks for the help. I don't like the idea of having a population explosion, so I killed all the ones I could find yesterday. But of course I came home from work today and there are more, haha. I guess I"ll just leave them be and if it gets bad try and find an assassin snail.

+1. The assassin snails do look really cool. I only put one in my tank and already the snail population has been decimated. Those assassin snails are truly instruments of death.
