Supplementing with excel

I have a 20 oz paintball co2 setup on my 20 gallon, and I always forget to monitor the gauge. I only realize the tank is empty when there are no bubbles coming out of the diffuser. It usually takes me a few days to find time to get my tank filled again. Is it okay to supplement with Excel until I can refill my co2, or should I hook up a DIY yeast/sugar setup instead?

Hello. You can suplement with excel but excel can melt some plants like varisnelias. Regards
