New tank....sealant on outside

I just set up my 55 gallon tank and noticed there is sealant on the outside of the tank. Its just at the joints....not smeared all over the tank. Is this anything I should worry about? Will it leak because of it?

I certainly don't want 55 gallons of water on my livingroom

Is it a brand new tank, or did you get it used?

It seems if there is silicone on the outside of the seams, that it may have been repaired. Normally doesn't come from the factory like that. At least not an aquarium I have seen before.

Does it seem like the silicone is done well, do you see air bubbles or gaps anywhere in it? Theres really only 1 way to find out. Maybe you could move the tank and stand outside and fill it up over the weekend and let it sit and see.

I don't see any bubbles in the sealant. The inside sealant looks fine to me. I just noticed some on the outside....after filling it with water last night. It seems to be doing leaks so far.
