Canister Plumbing

I need to make some plumbing changes to my canister filter so I can connect CO2 reactor. Does anyone know if I heat up 5/8 ID vinyl tubing if it would fit on 3/4 hose barb or do I need to buy some type of adapter?

Thanks

it'll fit with some elbow grease just fine

heating up works
or a little vaseline on the first barb works as well, i've done all three before
vaseline worked best

Ok, great, I just figured I better ask before I tried it. Now if it leaks can I blame you?

sure thing!!!!
keep in mind, if performing the vaseline method

u have <<<=== on a hose barb the first rung or < barb is the only one you put vaseline on. it does not take much but will seal just as tight if done properly
