Smile Bluish-green Water

in an outdoors tank. Not bluegreen algae or green water, but it looks more like a dye, the water is clear but colored. Puzzled me for some time, but now I think I figured it out. I feed that tank mostly with OSI Spirulina flake food, and I think the dye from the food is building up in the water. They list red 3, Yellow 5 as ingredients, but the food itself is more green than any other color.
