Algae control

One of my 10 gallon tanks is overrun with hair like algae. I kept the lighting time shorter, some turned yellwoish and were dying, but some at the lightest part of the tank overrun my Jawa Moss. The moss is live, but it is mixed with algae. Cherry shrimp is in there, but it does not help. I bought three Otocinclus fish, but it seems they do not want hair algae; they eat other algae on the glass and rocks. What can be done to save the Jawa Moss?

Amano shrimps or maybe a bristlenose pleco

So a guy walks into a Pet Store

Guy: "I have Algae on my drift wood!"

Pet Clerk: "Take two Plecos and call me next week."

Jawa Moss? I would recommend Storm Troopers.

Get you a couple true SAEs and trade them in when they get 2 or so inches.

Tell us if it works! I've tried doing a black-out on my tank to kill the hair algae on the moss, but it's a slow process. Slow, but working.
