Film on Inside of Tank Glass...Need Advice & Help!

Until you said it just now and I looked it up, I never knew that a Magic Eraser had no chemicals. I still don't know where it goes as you use it up, but apparently it's not from leaving chemicals behind...

Yah some of the Magic Erasers have bleach or Dawn in them. Don't want those. The normal ones are abrasive enough to clean most anything up but won't scratch the glass in my experience. I can't say if they are acrylic safe or not.

I could be wrong but having had turtles for many years, they look like scratches.

Click on the blue dots when they show up to proceed with the animations. If the link gets removed (I wouldn't imagine it would, but who knows), shoot me a PM and I'll send you the link that way.

well personally, it doesn't look like magnesium or calcium, etc
it looks like biofilm, the only one of my tanks that doesn't get it is the rediculously low light shrimp tank, which also gets my highest dosage of equilibrium.
its not hard water
its protein and bacteria. a weekly wipe down right before water change with a soft pad generally removes it quite easily, and it helps all the colors really stand out

Wanted to update.....it has been almost 3 weeks since I stopped dosing magnesium and the issue of the film has cleared up. I still use the Magic Eraser to clean the glass on the inside because it really works well but my glass is supper clean & clear again!
