New Tank Advise

Right now I don't have a tank. I will be getting a new one, as I sold my 150, mostly because of lack of room in new house.

So my options are the following:

90Gallon Tank (Tank Size listed below)

120Gallon Tank (Tank SIze listed below)

Wife thinks I should just go with the 90 to save a bit of money. In a way I agree, as I could buy the rest of the tank sooner, but I want to get it right the first time in regards to size.

I really like the 5 ft 120, but it kinda tall, but that would be great for large swords.

The 90 would be about 275 less (this includes tank/canopy/stand), and I am sure bit more, if filters would be less and amount of plants?

Any advise?

You're the only one who knows how much you want the extra real-estate, but the smaller tank is pretty much always going to be cheaper. Fewer plants, fewer fish, less substrate, potentially smaller/fewer pieces for the hardscape. Cost for lights and filtration depend on how you set things up.

go bigger... or you wont be satisfied. The amount of money saved wont be enough for you to notice on a month to month basis... a 120 is my dream tank... so of course id say GO FOR IT!!!
