Lighting Question

I have a Coral life T5 HO lamp with 2 10,000K bulbs. I would like to go with a low tech planted tank. Will that be to much light and if so what bulbs should I by?

In my experience, HO fixtures are too much forow light tank. Your basic t8 / t12 fixture would work. LED could be option too.

That would be fine for the tank he has. I'm running 2 54w t5HO's on my 55 and it's only medium lighting.

Do you have a planted tank? If so are there any plants that seem to be doing well for you? Looking for advice.

You're going to be getting light on the low end of 'medium' with that lighting, I right now have 3-4 varieties of ludwigia, amazon swords, crypts, Anubias, glosso, H. Kompact, S. Repens, and wisteria all growing well in my tank

What do you do as far as dosing? I'm assuming that your not using CO2?

A 90 gallon is 2 feet tall I believe, and coralife's are one of the weakest t5 HO's. You will be absolutely fine with this setup IMO.
