How to get rid of scum on the surface?

My aquarium has a slight scum on the surface. It's a 75 gallon, and I'm running 2 marineland 360's. It's been a long time since I've done tanks and in the past I've always ran wetdry's so the surface skimming has taken care of this scum/glick. I was just wondering if there is any other way to remove it with out using a wetdry, or will it eventually go away on it's own? Also will this be a reoccurring problem? The tank is a new set up and is in the third week of the cycle.

Does it kinda look like an oil slick? If so, surface agitation will get rid of it and keep it away. That's what has worked for me. Just enough to break the surface.

+1 on the surface agitation

If you don't have anything to create surface agitation, you can use a paper towel to wipe it up
