Talking Need help with moss mystery.

Hi ya.

Here's a little history: Last year I had a tiny cube with no fish, but just mosses. The cube broke due to unfortunate accident and i threw away all the mosses outside my house on the ground.

My house compound is fairly damp and bushy at some places. Ytd had the gardener clear up the whole area and today I found these!!

Now, I duno about u guys, but to me this looks very much like a Christmas moss???

So, i take most of them out

Here the size comparison with my 5g tank.

Are these Christmas Moss? Can I put them in the tank now? Even though most of these moss seem to be growing on the ground, I noticed some of them really grow on the pebbles as well!

So what do u guys think?

So, turns out this moss is actually JAVA MOSS!

I made a tree out of them and they've been growing in my 5g tank.
And starting to look a lot like some Java Moss which I had bought earlier.

So basically now I have a lot of "emersed" Java Moss outside my house.
Who doesn't like free mosses?? WOHHOO!!!
