black worms in planted tank?

I've been looking into black worms for my puffer and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them in a planted tank with co2? will they reproduce? will they be a good thing for plants?

To the best of my knowledge I believe they are harmless. Not so sure they'll reproduce in your conditions as I don't know what they are, but they're very easy to keep alive and thriving.

I have then in my tanks. Really would never know there are in there. I pulled a plant least week and one surfaced with the roots. I think one off the Cherry Barbs sucked it up.

I look at them as occasional fish food and a aide to the MTS at keeping the Substrate healthy. I would offer to only put a small amount in and allow them to self regulate.

I bought a golfball sized portion, put a pinch in each tank(10 & 40) and frooze the rest to feed later.

I drop a big blog of them into the tank every few weeks. The fish, shrimp, snails, loaches, frogs, everyone loves to eat them! The ones that get away burrow into the substrate but I see kuhli loaches diving for them from time to to time, and once in a while I'll catch one sneaking around (and usually geting eaten).

I don't think they can reproduce in most tank environments, but having them in there seems like a good thing to me!
