threadfin rainbow compatibility question

I just picked up a male and female on a road trip on the way home. I fell in love with them!!! By looking at my stock list are there any fish in my tank I need to adopt out. Thanks!

They are shoalers so get more first off, at least 6.

Also, check out http://www.aqadvisor.com/ - you can add your tank size, filter, and fishes to see what your tank capacity is at and things like that (take it all with a grain of salt) - more importantly for you would be the fish compatibility and any warnings will pop up if there are some.

With them, they are a pretty delicate species. Make sure the tankmates are not known fin nippers. and make sure you are able to get some food to them. They are a bit shy when it comes to faster moving species.

They are absolutely beautiful when in full color displaying to the females. So I would get two females to each male. You will end up with a nice show every morning when the lights turn on

Thank you all for the info. The LFS I bought them from is 3 hours from me, so might make another trip up there when he gets more in. He only had 1 male and 1 female left, and I was not leaving the store without them! :-)

He also had peacock gobies. They were AWESOME!!!! I might have to start another planted tank just for all the cool fish he had. Also something I've never seen was spotted danios, they looked like leopards with orange coloration.
