So I had a Bearded Dragon until recently and have thought about changing her tank to a aquarium. I have been looking into planted tanks for a bit now and like what I see.
I have a 40g long 48x13x17. From what I have read this is what I will probably go with.
Filter: Canister
CO2: Pressurized paintball CO2 + inline diffuser
Substrate: Black diamond blasting sand or pool filter sand
Heater: Inline Heater
Light: Not sure yet
I don't have much access to driftwood other than buying it and for a 40g long it can be quite expensive to buy a lot of that. However I do have great access to a rock yard that as cheap rocks with everything from riverstone to granite and lava rock.
Now I have never done aquascaping before so if I am focused mainly on rocks with such a long aquarium, does anyone have some advice to get started?
