Tank builders.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a 180 gallon tank but so far i have no luck finding it in DFW area. I went to couple LFS's but their prices are somewhere up in the sky. Do you know any good, affordable, and reliable builders in DFW ?

Please let me know,
Thank you,

Hey I'm new here, but my late stepfather purchased a custom built glass 180 gallon tank from a guy in houston that used to build them for $1000.00 bucks with canopy and stand.

All I could manage to find was the purchase address from the guy that built them.

I will say it was a well built aquarium no leaks cabinet wasn't exactly designer quality but it was sturdy.

Here is the address perhaps you could send a letter to the current resident.

I hope this helps. It was 10 years ago that we purchased it so the guy may not live there anymore.

Hey no problem. If you do try sending a letter just tell him to respond with propper contact info and don't include any personal info other than a return address. LoL could be some criminal living there now.

On another note if you do in fact get a response and he's still there please share the info with me and others on here.

Thanks.

have you tired getting in contact with hector at planet aquariums? there is also some one on dfwmas that builds custom aquariums.
dfwapc is having a meeting at the d.a.s. factory on the 8th you could always be a guest and see what they can do for you.

Thanks, Joey. tanks-CUBE of different sizes.
