i had mine in high current, high light at first, and started to grow roots off of every branch in an attempt to get stable. the damn thing took off, i had to trim it after a month. the trimming i stuck in my shrimp tank, low light low current, and it is just getting super bushy. the stalk i had trimmed off grew two new branches to make a Y, i left it in my main tank and it is growing pretty quick. its not dense but it looks super cool.

both of my tanks are low tech.

oh bear since you mentioned them, i've got some dwarf hair grass that isn't doing to hot in either my shrimp tank or my main, would you maybe want it?

Out of curiosity, why doesn't anyone post tank pics in their profiles in this forum?

I've got one or two journals up for my past planted tanks. I did a high tech 5.5 gallon you can see. All of my others I havent posted. I go through so many. All I have right now is shrimp tanks but I can try and take some pics of them. No high tech tanks anymore. Too much work!

I keep working on pictures, but digital really isn't the best. I'm not taking one now because I have a stem plant and anubias floating around from over enthusiastic habrosus bros. >< I'm happy with my low-moderate tech tank. My shreemps too! I need some otos and/or chili rasboras one day...

So I have been with my old lady for the past two or three days cause she got her gallbladder taken out at CSRH in NB. Outside her window i kept staring at the koi pond... Just wondering if I was wrong in jacking some frogbit and hyacinth. and being excited about it on the drive home.

Hope she gets well soon!

And nah, frogbit and Hyacinth grow like mad. I think they're classified as weeds/noxious weeds in some places.

My hyacinth died how sad is that.

But I have a lot of current and the plants get their leaves under the water most of the time.
