From: http://www.milwaukeetesters.com/pdf/...120-SMS122.pdf

RANGE 0.0 to 14.0 pH
RESOLUTION 0.1 pH
ACCURACY (@25°C) ±0.2 pH
SETPOINT 5.5 to 9.5 pH
ALARM active when measure is higher than selected setpoint.

I'm glad that you got it going with fishyface's help. I've been watching Oklahoma (#5) really whipping Texas Tech (#3) in the first half. 42 to 7!

Can you put the slope adjustment that you tried back to the original setting if you have problems?

I think that Milwaukee should include in their instructions on their site about not adjusting the slope for aquarium use. These are the extra directions that come with the controller:

Please Note:

Because the SMS122 is used primarily in an aquarium environment we strongly recommend that your unit be calibrated at the pH 7.0 position only. We have included just a starter pack of pH calibration solution 7.01. If your application needs require calibration solution for the Acid or Alkali ends of the pH scale please let us know and we will provide the proper calibration solution.

With your 5 dKH water, setting the controller on 6.7 yields ~ 30 ppm of CO2 and a setting of 6.8 yields ~ 24 ppm of CO2. Either of these settings should work well for you.

Dang! the score is 58 to 14 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Gotta go.
