Stores in Bucks C. PA?

Does anyone have any suggestions for some good LFS around Eastern Bucks/ South Jersey area. My favorate is Aquaium Center but they are about an hour away so I cant get there often. Please don't say Hidden Reef. They aren't bad but they always have the same things in stock. And resently most of the plants have been house plants(mostly peace lily).

Thanks,
Anna

"thatpetplace" is like an hour and a half away from you. They are the best in the state imo.

Heh, That Pet Place is perhaps the best pet store/Fish store in the nation, but it isn't really in Bucks....

Bucks has a few good stores that I am aware of: Hidden Reef and Fish Factory. Both are VERY good for dry goods selection and prices. FF is renovating their fish room, so currently it is disappointing and even a little disconcerting, but they are nice IMHO. HR always has a great selection of fish and plants, although the quality is hit and miss. Sometimes the live goods are great, other times you couldn't keep it alive on a respirator. Still, I am not at all convinced that this is their fault as they seem to do a good job generally....

I agree with you, Anna, that the Hidden Reef is good for dry goods but terrible for plants. Captain Nemo's near Norristown is more expensive for dry goods but has the best selection of plants I've found in the Philly area and not bad pricing on the plants either.

Fins Feathers Paws and Claws in Hilltown is a nice store with very helpful and knowledgeable employees. I frequent there all time.

A new store just opened on 309 in Bucks county next to Eds TV past Walmart going North. A little small but seem to be some nice people.

Its on 309 North of Montgomeryville Mall. Pass the Walmart and there is a small shopping strip with 3 or 4 stores on the right. Eds TV is in there as well as a mattress store. The name of it is Pet Hut or something along those lines. It is really small but has alot of Chiclids.

Very small selection. Picked up a banana plant. I feel it was a little expensive, almost 3.00.

This is in Harleysville not Hilltown. Right on rt 63. I do agree with the rest. They are on the high end for $$$ but they sell high quilty live goods. They will custom order for you also

Wow drive by this every day and never knew it was there. I'll be stopping in tomorrow just to see what they have. This shop would be in Hilltown
