SAEs

I've been on a hunt lately to find some true Siamese algae eaters (Crossocheilus siamensis or Crossocheilus Langei) in Southeast PA. Unfortunately, I've been largely unsuccessful. Does anyone know of some place to buy SAEs in the area? Thanks.

Wow your locations are wayyy off. Lancaster is correct but by no means is it near King of prussia. They are about an hour and a half from each other. On There is also the Aquarium center in NJ as well.

You get off an exit soon after king of prussia at least the way I go. There are tons of ways to get there.

Thanks for the ideas, unfortunately neither of those places have any SAEs now. I was told That Pet Place had some a few weeks back but theyre out now and don't know when they'll get more.

Try the petco in Paoli that just opened. The fish room manager is a real fish guy. He used to manage the ardmore location. He is good about stocking SAE's.

If he doesn't have them, ask them to order them. I dont recall his name but ask for the fish room manager. I've always picked up my SAE's from him.

I've seen them a few times at the Hidden Reef in Levitown and at natural pet( captain nemos) in East Norriton. Nemos had them a month or so ago. May have some left

Interesting, I was just over there myself on Monday and they said they had none. Maybe they sold out or there was a misunderstanding. Either way their website says they're out of stock of them. I'll keep an eye out though.

I also tried nemos a week or so ago but all they had were Chinese algae eaters. I haven't checked The Hidden Reef recently but I'll be sure to do so. Thank you all for your help.

That Pet Place is about 1 hour from KOP if you take the 202 and 30 route.

treben: I think I still have a single SAE in one of my planted tank if you want. s/he is big (5"+) Free for pickup in CC (I can bring it to my work place)

You can also check aquarium center. They may not advertise it but you will see them in the plant tanks. Sometime they sell them.

Hey Treben,
I'm the fish guy at the Paoli Petco that Rob mentioned. I may have some SAE's left in stock but otherwise I should have more coming in Wednesday.

Do you guys ever have any freshwater shrimp or celestial pearl danios in stock?

Have whisker and bamboo shrimp in right now and maybe a couple (baby) cherry shrimp left. Trying to get celestial danios in next week. Not sure if you were interested in dwarf crayfish but I have a few of those in stock as well. But let me know what you want shrimp-wise and I can get them in for you.
