Yeah, I ordered last Wednesday but I didn't hear back from my rep. Normally he emails me back confirmation of items being in stock. I have been insanely busy with work and finals for school over the last week. Didn't even have a chance to check if he charged my card. I was just thinking about emailing him right now sitting in class.

hey man, like i said before i'm not really in a rush, do what you gota do.

on another topic, is there anything pre made that would work as a pre filter for a 306, the fluval pre filter sponge i had laying around is to small to fit over the strainer, so for now i just took the strainer off and put the sponge rite on the tube...

That works just fine or you can zip tie pantyhose over the intake strainer. Or filter floss if you have a sheet or two lying around...

my line of thinking is that the water is only passing thru the bottom part of the sponge because there is no strainer to i guess diffuse the water thru the entire sponge resulting in the sponge getting clogged really fast. thats a lot of water passing thru about 2.5 square inches of sponge...

Im running that Fluval sponge over just the intake pipe of the HOB on the tank in my office. Been fine for weeks and actually gets clogged less I think.

i used a filter media bag over my 305 intake for quite some time. problem was, i had my intake hidden well, so i took it off because it was a pita to clean. of course, my laziness cost me about 60 shrimp pantyhose works too. i had that covering the internal filter in my ebi. clogs fast though

yea the intake is big and ugly, gona b a pita to hide, but not as bad as the green eheim intake. so far impressed with this filter, you get a lot more bang for your buck over a simular priced eheim.

My sales rep got back to me. I'll have my dry goods order sometime next week. Might finally have time tomorrow to order from my new dry goods supplier in Singapore. I'm really excited about some of the stuff I can get from them.

I know...

I went to Reef today to get Fluval 88g Co2 refills. If it kills me, I'm gonna make this damn Iwagumi tank in my office look good. Throwing everything I have at it the last month. I will resort to buying enough HC/DHG to just plant it completely filled in. But it would be nice if what I have in there already would just grow damnit... lol.

Anybody know what these little bastards are? No idea where they came from. Don't seem to be hurting anything. But they also seem to be multiplying...

And I'm not talking about the snails. I'm intentionally breeding the rams horn. Don't ask why...
