yup, they can be bred. but remember, they have to go from egg, to tadpole to frog. from what i have read, it's a minimum of a year before they are ready for sale.

you can keep a pair of tree frogs in a 10g tank. tall is better for tree frogs and more floor space is better for dart frogs or toads. i'm gonna put tree frogs in this one eventually and i broke down my 20L that had a crack in it tonight and that is going to be a fire belly toad tank.

oh, and she doesn't know about this tank........yet!!LOL

didn't you say you had tigers as well?

Yeah I love the ones they have that aren't for sale. I've seen them for sale there as well but haven't in a long time. I was just looking on Aquabid and the prices aren't as outrageous as I was expecting. Might just order some juvies and take a shot.

You may want to try MarksDiscus up in Brooklyn. He is a big Angles and Discus breeder. I believe he is supplying LFS stores with his Angles. When I was at his hatchery a few years ago, he grew Angles frys by the buckets.

So far away. Unless they had some really nice stock at great prices the gas and time would make it almost not worth it for me. I don't need anything super nice. Just trying to get some stock for my South American blackwater idea.

But if you are going to order on Aquabid, I assume you are going to get it ship. Mark ship as well and he sells on Aquabid.

jimmy, a metal rack is a piece of cake. you just need to know someone who can weld the steel together for you.

Just curious. Why metal? I know it could make to look nice and does save some space compared to wood but to me. 2x4 are cheap and easy to set up.

If you insist on using metal. You need to get a hold of msjinkzd. Her husband make some really nice multi-level metal stand. As a matter of fact, I think her whole fish room is all custom made metal stand.
