are u interested in adding more kind???
Check this site out
i won't go to the club on castor ave near aramingo st this week
and i want to buy 1 or 2 awesome strain guppies from here
if u were me, which one would u choose?
also if i have good strain , do u think it is hard to keep that quality?
If I had to choose I would go with the BlueGreen Moscows. American greens would be my second choice, but I don't think you'd be able to maintain the color without massive amounts of culling. The BlueGreen moscows look like they have deep color and all you would need to do is pull any that were too light or too dark. I'm not a fan of purple moscows at all. I've worked with red albinos and I didn't like them much. They are more orange than they are "red" and the strain I had only had a percentage with full body coverage which will likely be the case. Also, without constant culling of lighter colored fish, it's bound to go to garbage.
I used to have about 4 different strains of guppies, but found out it's too much work keep that many strains. You need so much space and multiple tanks for just one strain let alone 2 or more. Plus, with the full blacks (black moscows), all I have to do is cull any that have crappy fins or odd markings on the fins. Otherwise the strain stays pretty good.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no expert, but I used to have a breeder come over my house every few months to buy them from me and he would give me tips on breeding.
