anything bad....you mean besides the mosquito breeding ground you created? lol as long as you don't let the rocks get covered to the point where your plecos can't clear them in a decent amount of time. i would probably cycle the rocks every couple weeks or so. put some in the tank while growing some outside and then just swap them out. the only other problem i see if your plecos getting pissed off at you in the fall when you can;t supply them with that wonderful fresh algae. they may just put a hit out on you....lol

So I put a powerhead over my CO2 diffuser and its doing a great job of dispersing the bubbles. Its ugly as hell though...need to find a low profile one.

The plants started pearling right away

Good deal man. Did you put some syn. 'Belem' in there? It will LOVE the light and co2. Mine is growing so well now. Especially since i started EI dosing see?

That looks great.
I have the syn 'belem' in the tank already but its nearly dead -lol. Thankfully, I have a nice healthy 5" patch in my emersed setup. Hopefully the co2 will let me grow them submersed now.

They should be fine in a pond as long as it doesn't freeze solid over the winter. Besides, depending on the fish in there, they may not survive long anyway.....lol
