WTB: Malaysian trumpet snails

I just set up a new 40gal dirted tank with a sand cap and I am looking for some malaysian trumpet snails to keep the substrate aerated. Does anyone have more than they need and/or willing to part with some?

I'd be surprised if anyone here doesn't!

How many do you want to start with?

Well, since this is my first darted tank I am not sure how many I would need. Any recommendations for a 40 gallon? I am in Portland, Oregon. What price are you asking for them?

Malaysian trumpets are incidental. If you put a couple in your tank and if you over feed your fish, a few months later you'll have hundreds. The Wet Spot charges 35 for one but most shops and aquarists should have no trouble giving them away.

I'm in NE near Wilshire Park - send me a PM and tell me where you are and when you want them.

Looking Again - MTS

So, it turns out that my GBR is a fan of snails. I am not sure how many survived the first week. I am looking for more snails that can maintain a population in the substrate. Does anyone have any available?
