Ok then, I'll go back on myself again, I'll take any culls you have. If they can't keep up breeding then they get moved to a peaceful tank.

they breed in freshwater, but the babies have to be transferred to brackish or they wont survive. it may be a lost cause but I want to give it a try anyways.

on another note. WTB red cherries in the Corvallis/Albany/Salem area. pm me with a price. thanks all.

Anyone in the Salem area have some shrimp for cheap? I am not worried about grading or anything, really it is to test whether or not they survive in my tank. I have heard horror stories about pressurized CO2 and shrimp so i wanted to see how they do. Thinking like 10-15 shrimp for $20

They do just fine in pressurized co2 i have my orange rili and cherries in pressurized systems and I crank up the co2 just before gassing to keep the algae at bay. I would say try and get them from the west coast if you can as i lost a lot of them going from hard water to our soft water. Just a thought or find out what their gh and kh values are so you can acclimate slowly. I dont habe any yet as mine just started breeding.

I'm looking for some cherry shrimp or another hardy shrimp. Other colors other than red are ok. I'm new to shrimp. I'm willing to travel to Portland. I bought 2 from one of the local stores but at 2.50 a pop it seems a bit high on the price.

I'm looking for maybe 10 to start out my colony. I have a 5.5 gallon Mini M (in my signature) ..

Let me know...
