Default Aquarium Pond-philippines

Mabuhay!

Hi folks! its always great reading and checking almost every week updates on this forum. and i am learning a lot from the experiences each and everyone in this forum is sharing.

Now, i don't know where to put this thread of mine but i really feel like it belongs here since i will be doing kinda like an aquarium-pond setup. So folks please i am open to any suggestions/advises to be able to have some directions in what i want to do. I would just like to remind everyone that this tank is a work in progress.

Inhabitants :
2 spot barbs
1 corydoras
1 black moor
5 mickey mouse platty
2 black molly
2 SAE
5 choco gourami

2 DIY-CO2
1 OHF

Plants
hornwort
bacopa
najas gras
potamageton gayi
echis
watter lettuce
recently bought dwarf lotus with budding white flowers
peace lily (good nitrate absorber?)
egeria densa
a red plant
cryptos
cabomba
horse-tail
vallisneria

soon to have:
anubias petite
thai stricta
calla lily
---i'll be putting it in the rim of the tanks i just dont know if it will grow without any substrate..just like what i did with the peace lily.

dwarf lotus-will the leaves reach the upper surface of the water or do i have to cling it near the rim of the tank?

I guess its obvious that the plants are in pots and plastic cups since i am currently low in the dough, i guess this is a nice strat to get the plants acclimatized or less traumatized when i transfer them in the substrate. But some will stay in the pots others in the substrate.

I'll be using demineralized soil top with river-sand for my substrate. i will also be utilizing a UGF.

Thank you in advance for any response.

Godbless
