Fishtown USA had some really nice looking crowntail bettas for $6. Also pygmies for $1.50 and marbled hatchets for $2 (3 for $5.50). Other stock pretty standard. There were also some very dark red cherry shrimp, $4 and some berried, maybe Sakura or painted grade?

Stopped by Fishtown , there is still plenty of pygmy cories - healthy looking.
There are also flagfish , I don't recall seeing them often in LFS ...

Does anyone know where I can get blackworms? I used to get them from New World but they closed shop.

Yes there are , have very small ones together with the pygmy cories , and larger ones I think mostly black. Sorry wasn't paying attention to angels.
The paradise aquarium on fresh pond rd have a nice large zebra pair with 300-400 fry swimming in a 10 gallon tank ... was there yesterday ...

I get them at my local Petland Discounts (10463). I think most of them have them. Apparently there's been a shortage for the past few weeks but they had loads when I went in last Thursday.

Stopped in at Pacific today. Some nice fish for planted tanks in stock:

Plenty of healthy looking apisto agassiziis
Sparkling gouramis
Gardneri killifish
Decent sized ottos @ 3 for ~$8
Small altum angels (looked like they might be the real deal!)

Also, if anyone is into serious monster shrimp they had a big Macrobrachium prawn (looked to me like Macrobrachium rosenbergii).

Stopped by Pacific today, some of the sparkling gourami were still there, but they just got a big shipment of honey gourami in that are gorgeous, 4 bucks each, all males. I picked one out to be our new centerpiece fish - it has some nice red tipping too!
